De all&iacute; vienen directores de cine habitualmente tan desesperanzados como Xavier Beauvois &ndash;en nuestra cartelera con una pel&iacute;cula m&aacute;s esperanzada que de costumbre&ndash; y Bruno Dumont. La <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brunodumont.com\/index.php?option=com_k2&amp;view=item&amp;id=1:hadewijch&amp;Itemid=2&amp;lang=fr\" target=\"_blank\">&uacute;ltima pel&iacute;cula de Dumont<\/a> &ndash;director que no viene de los goyas sino del Goya m&aacute;s desesperado, el que pintara la naturaleza humana es su estado m&aacute;s terrible e irremediable&ndash; trataba sobre los furores que desata la fe cuando Dios se escribe con may&uacute;scula y es tan &Uacute;nico y Verdadero que no hay nada como inmolarse por &eacute;l, gozosamente. La pel&iacute;cula de Xavier Beauvois titulada en franc&eacute;s <i style=\"\">Des hommes et des dieux<\/i> &ndash;los hombres, las personas f&iacute;sicas de cualquier clase y condici&oacute;n por delante, antes que los dioses, ese invenci&oacute;n humana&ndash; y en castellano al rev&eacute;s &ndash;<i style=\"\">De dioses y hombres<\/i>&ndash;, m&aacute;s que nada habla de dioses con min&uacute;scula. As&iacute; es desde la cita que precede a la pel&iacute;cula: &ldquo;Todos vosotros sois dioses&rdquo;. Este Beauvois m&aacute;s esperanzado que de costumbre parece estar hablando de los dioses de la Raz&oacute;n: del altruismo, de la solidaridad, del hombre libre de miedos y cadenas, due&ntilde;o de sus actos y de su destino. Y la Raz&oacute;n solo se sostiene en la fe en el hombre. Los siete u ocho monjes de Xavier Beauvois, esos frailes tan raros que leen las cr&oacute;nicas de <i style=\"\">L&rsquo;Equipe<\/i> y las <i style=\"\">Cartas persas<\/i> de Montesquieu, empiezan en un pasillo oscuro. Un oscuro pasillo era el eje de la vida de las misioneras de <i style=\"\">7 mujeres<\/i>. En aquella pel&iacute;cula de John Ford, llegados los b&aacute;rbaros, una mujer no creyente decid&iacute;a sacrificarse para que una comunidad de religiosas &ndash;entre las que no faltaba alguna privilegiada representante del dogmatismo m&aacute;s furioso&ndash; tuviera la oportunidad de empezar de nuevo, de una manera mejor.
